Freezer Meals Made Easy

The start of school is always so busy - the first few weeks I'm in my classroom really late working on lesson plans, making copies, and analyzing student data - only to come home and spend more time grading papers and studying the curriculum. It always takes me a while to get back in the swing of things...learning how to balance work and home life.

So to make things easier this year (at least in the cooking department), I decided to stock up on freezer meals. I often get home so late with a lot to do for the next day's lesson, that I don't have time to cook, and we end up ordering out. I love a good take out meal just as much as the next person, but we all know that it can get expensive and add on the pounds. My solution - ready to go meals to throw in the crockpot so that we can still enjoy a home cooked meal at the end of a busy day.

Today is the first day back at work for me, so I took some time yesterday to put together three recipes, two batches of each, for a total of six meals. All of these recipes are from New Leaf Wellness. They make it so easy with their printable grocery list and recipe instructions that you can find here. It only took me an hour to put together these tasty looking meals in bag, and you can even print the cute freezer labels after subscribing to their email list. Plus, these meals are good in your freezer for up to three months!

If you are looking for some easy freezer meals to put together - this is it! I might be running around like a crazy person for the next few weeks, but I will be enjoying at home meals with my man - it's my favorite time of day! There is nothing better than coming home to a yummy meal and taking some time to catch up with each other after a long day at work. Have you ever made any freezer meals? I will let you know how these taste - I'm looking forward to trying them! Thanks for reading!
