Best Buys: June

I can't believe it's the last day of June - where did the time go?! I feel like I was just introducing my new monthly series, Best Buys, at the end of last month. This month definitely flew by, and I enjoyed every minute. At the beginning of the month, we took a trip to Tampa to see our college besties (who happened to be married), and then came home to my cousin and his fianc√© stopping in Nashville for a quick visit. We traveled to my hometown for Father's Day weekend and brought my grandparents back with us (!!) - you can read more about their stay here. We ended the month with a wedding in Oxford, MS (our college town) celebrating two of our dearest friends who tied the knot. I'm spending the last week of June doing a few house projects and getting ready for a week at the beach with my family for the 4th of July. Needless to say, it's been a great one, but cheers to the next one! Here are my best buys of June -

1. Rodan & Fields Selfless Tanner - As I've gotten older, I've learned how important it is to protect your skin - especially in the summer. I used to cook in the sun (rarely using sunscreen) to get that summer glow. Now, I try to protect to my skin by limiting my time in the sun and wearing good sunscreen. But a girl still needs her tan, right? This tanner is my absolute favorite - so easy to apply and the results are quick! I also use Rodan & Fields Soothe regimen for my sensitive skin.

2. Bobbie Brown Mascara - Mascara is hands down my must have beauty product. Have you ever gotten that question, "If you could only pick one to wear for the rest of your life, what beauty product would it be?" For me, it's mascara - hands down. I don't have the best natural eyelashes, and this mascara is what dreams are made of. It gives great volume and length, plus it's not clumpy. It will be my go-to from here on out.

3. Essential Oil Diffuser - When we were in New York, I stopped by a store while window shopping to check out their essential oils. I had never bought any, but was very interested in them after reading this, so I decided to stock up on a few! I quickly realized how well they work and wanted to buy a diffuser to keep the oils misting away in our home when needed. This one doesn't break the bank, works well, and is the perfect size - I give it a thumbs up!

4. Pom Pom Tote - I'm obsessed with the pom pom trend that's all the rage right now, so when I saw this summer tote, I knew it had to be mine. I took it to Tampa earlier this month and plan on bringing it to the beach next week, as well as to Hawaii at the end of July. It's the perfect beach bag (goes with everything), plus I've carried to the Farmers Market as a tote to bring all my goodies home in, and to a weekend at the lake for the boat ride.

5. Eat Pretty Book - Just as I've started taking better care of my skin, I've also started taking better care of my body and what I put in it. I have started paying attention to what I eat and how it makes me feel. This is a great read about foods that contribute to beauty - such as glowing skin, great nails & hair, etc. It also talks about what to steer clear of - beauty betrayers that cause bloating, acne, wrinkles, etc. There are even recipes for each season featuring different eat pretty foods that will have you feeling and looking great!

*The installments of Best Buys are not sponsored, and the products I feature are not items sent to me for collaboration. They are items I purchased, love, and what to share!
