One of my favorite things to do in Nashville is to visit Arrington Vineyards. It's the cutest little winery in the hills of Tennessee - only about 25 minutes outside of the city. We usually visit the vineyard when we have guests in town, but just recently Chris and I decided to go on a Saturday afternoon and make a date night out of it. What I love most about Arrington Vineyards is that you can pack your own picnic! We put together a tasty Charcuterie board to munch on while sipping on our favorite wines from winery. With us being out of town so much lately, it made for the perfect weekend activity. It felt so good to be back home and watching the sun set behind the hills.
This gingham dress was made for a day at the winery with a picnic basket in hand. Chris even told me it looked like a picnic table cloth - that would be a guy's take on gingham - ha! I especially love the big tie in the back and how lightweight the material is (which was nice because it was 95 degrees and humid that day #summerinthesouth). We made the best of it, and although we were both sweating when these pictures were snapped, I loved the way they turned out - the sun light falling between the vines was beautiful and the wine was going down like water.

If you're ever in the Nashville area, put the vineyard on your must see list. It's the perfect place to spend a spring, summer, and even fall afternoon. You can pack a picnic, do a wine tasting, buy a few bottles to sip on, and even enjoy live music on Fridays and Saturdays. It's hard to believe that this little gem is just a few minutes from Music City. The rolling hills and rows of grapes make you feel like you are far from the city and deep in the countryside.
I hope you all have a wonderful Monday and start to your week! You may have read here that my grandparents are visiting us in Nashville this week. Our adventures begin today, and I'm taking them all around the city. The vineyard is on our list for tomorrow! Follow our shenanigans on Snapchat: annaleewhite. :) Thanks so much for reading!!
