- Being home for a weekend after six weekends of travel -

Happy Friday, friends!! I hope you all had a wonderful week. This one flew by for me! I spent most of my days getting caught up on things around the house - after traveling for six weekends in a row, there was a lot to get done around here. I'm super excited for the weekend because we are traveling to my hometown in Mississippi (!!). I haven't been back home since Christmas, so I am pumped to see the family and spend some quality time with my dad (it's his birthday weekend plus Father's Day).

We are also bringing my grandparents back up to Nashville with us on Sunday, and they are staying with us for the week! You don't know how happy this makes me. I hardly ever get to see them since they are 7 hours away, so I'm looking forward to having them all to myself and showing them my city. Grandparents are really special, don't ya think? I want to soak up as much time with mine as I can.

I call mine Joe and Granny, and let me tell you, they are a hoot. They love to eat (now you know where I get it from) - so our plans are, of course, to eat out quite a few times, go downtown for some light sightseeing, and I might take them to Country Music Hall of Fame. It's going to be a relaxing, food filled time! Follow along with our adventures on Snapchat: annaleewhite - trust me, you'll fall in love with them! What are your weekend plans? I hope you get to spend it with the people you love most. Thanks for stopping by!
