An afternoon spent in the kitchen doing what I love most: drinking wine, listening to music, and doing some cooking. I made fresh tomato sauce to go with our spaghetti squash and it was so yummy!
"Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire."
Don't be afraid to pursue what makes you happy. The fears will be there, but don't let them stop you! I can relate this to the blog in so many ways. I was scared to start it - scared of what people would think, if people would like it, and it if would fail. But you know what? I love writing and sharing, so I decided that's all that mattered.
I have a lot of weekend trips coming up, so I was in search of a great weekender bag and came across this one from Sole Society. I can't wait to get it in the mail - it's perfect for those quick weekend trips when you don't need a full suitcase!
Madewell is one of my favorite stores, so browsing their site is a bad weekly habit of mine. I fell in love with this plaid tunic dress (on sale!) that will be perfect for fall and this adorable striped top (under $50!) that I think will look so cute with denim and booties.
I'm so happy that flared jeans are coming back around again! I'm excited to bring them into my fall wardrobe, and I found the perfect dark wash pair at Express. Best part - they are currently marked down to $47!!
This look inspiring me to embrace the baseball cap more into my every day outfits. I ordered this one in white and can't wait to style it (especially on those bad hair days!).
Doesn't this gorgeous shot make you want to visit Italy right away?! We had the chance to go to Venice, Florence, and Rome back in 2014 (more on that here, here, here, here, and here), but the Almalfi Coast is definitely another reason to go back - stunning!!
I'm currently on a mission to redecorate our house - it's a cute little cottage on the outside, and I feel like the inside should match that! I've finally figured out my style when it comes to home decor, and I want my house to reflect that. My new board on Pinterest is keeping me inspired.
I absolutely loved this post on 10 Artists Worth Investing In Now. Picking out artwork is always very tricky to me. For years, I wanted a gallery wall above our couch, but now I'm leaning more towards one big piece of art that makes a statement.
Everything about this blog makes me happy. I couldn't pick just one post! Her house is ah-mazing, and she shares a lot of her farmhouse finds. Plus her style is on point. I'm happy to have found another daily read! That's why I love blogs - simply for the inspiration.
Happy Friday, y'all! I hope you've had a great week..it's been a busy one around here. I mentioned that I'm re-doing our house, and cleaning out is no joke. Sorry for the lack of posts this week, but I've been spending most of my time creating some new content for this blog of mine - more to come later, so stay tuned! I'm headed to Atlanta today with my mother-in-law and (future) sis-in-law for a bridal brunch to celebrate the bride to be. It should be a fun little road trip for us girls! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend - thanks for reading!
