Put a Cap On It

How was your Labor Day weekend?! I hope it was filled with lots of laughter and time spent outside enjoying the last days of summer. We had a great time at my in-laws lake house in Oklahoma (yes, we felt the earthquake on Saturday…crazy!!).

We loved every minute of being in the water and soaking up the sun. Hopefully you were following along with the fun on Snapchat - user name is annaleewhite.

Sail to Sable sent me this dress earlier this summer for the 4th of July, and I've been wearing it non-stop. It feels like a t-shirt dress and is sooo comfy. It's been a great summer staple, but I also plan on wearing it into fall with these white espadrille sneakers.

I know you're not supposed to wear white after Labor Day, but I'm breaking that rule because I don't like it. Red and blue are my college team colors (Go Rebs!), so I'm sure I'll be pulling this dress out for a few football games as well.

I recently bought this baseball cap and can't get enough of it. I love that it absolutely goes with everything and that it's made of wool, which makes it perfect for fall! My new motto for those lazy bad hair days is "put a cap on it," and that's exactly what I'll be doing 99.9% of the time.

As for summer, we've officially put a cap on it now that we've had our last lake weekend of the season. Kind of sad... but now fall can really begin - pumpkin spice latte anyone?
