"Hate. It has caused a lot of problems in this world, but it has not solved one yet."
- Maya Angelou

My prayer is that our country will start to show more love instead of hate. Hate never solves anything, but love heals.

Tis the season for soups and breads, and this post on 14 Cozy Twists on Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup gives some great ideas for an old classic.

Thank goodness it's the weekend! It's been a crazy week for our country, and while I don't want to talk politics on my blog (as I believe the internet is not a good place to share political views), I don't want to stay completely silent because I know it matters to each and every one of us. My prayer is that the people our of country can learn to put our differences aside and find a way to respect and love each other. While I know that there will always be disagreements when it comes to politics, the hateful acts that have filled our country since Wednesday are just so disheartening. I pray it ends soon, but in the meantime, I'm sending much love to you, my friend. Have a great weekend!

PS. To all our amazing veterans, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for fighting for US. All of us. God bless you and Happy Veterans Day!!
