We had a pre-Thanksgiving meal with Chris's side of the family this past weekend, and we were sent home with lots of extra turkey, gravy, and cranberry sauce to eat on this week! Instead of just re-heating the leftovers the next day, I decided to make us turkey grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch! It had all the same Thanksgiving flavors, but with a little twist to make us feel like we were eating a completely different meal! So for today's talk, I wanted to share the turkey grilled cheese recipe with y'all, as well as other ideas for what to do with your leftovers!
Cranberry Turkey Grilled Cheeses:
Ingredients: sliced bread, turkey, cranberry sauce, brie cheese, mayo and butter
To Make: spread mayo on one side of bread, layer cheese under turkey and then top with cranberry sauce, grill on low to medium heat in buttered pan for 2-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melting out. Enjoy warm!
