"A strong woman has waited patiently while her roots grew down deep into God's word. Over time she becomes unshakable in her faith. She starts bearing fruit naturally and is full of life. People are attracted to her strength and growth, and many find rest and peace as they lean on her. And when storms and trials come, as they always do, they won't be able to take her down. A few branches may be lost or pruned away, but in their place comes new growth and new life." - Lisa Chan

We are going skiing with a group of good friends in a few weeks, so I've been browsing for some warmer clothes to travel with!
I got these Sorel boots several weeks ago and can't wait to get more wear out of them on our trip. I wore them on a short, snowy hike back in December and LOVED them. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a new, stylish winter boot that will keep you warm and are waterproof!!
This faux fur trim hooded jacket is currently 50% off and comes in three colors - major steal for a nice winter coat!! I linked some other winter wear favorites below (just click on the image to shop)!

This week has been a busy one, which made it fly by!! It started with a quick overnight trip to Mississippi to meet with a new doctor who is known for helping women with infertility (thanks SO much to my awesome readers who recommended him to me!).
We are really happy we went to see him, and while we don't have specific answers yet, he thinks he may have discovered something that could be making it harder for us to get pregnant. So for that we are hopeful and excited about a new plan!
After that appointment, we hit the road again... this time to Louisville, KY for one of Chris's business trips. One reason I decided not to teach this year (you can read more about that here) is so that I could have more time to travel with Chris when needed. Well this week it was needed, so I loaded up and went with him.
Although I was missing my own bed, it's always nice to unwind and spend a few days in a hotel! I laid in bed and read a book for 2 hours... something I never get to do at home because I always feel like there is something that needs to be done.
I also got a lot of work done in a nearby coffee shop, and it made me think back to college when I lived in coffee shops!! I would always go to my favorite one to study. Ha ha.. the good ole' days. We are back home now and ready for a low-key weekend! What are your weekend plans?? Enjoy and thanks for reading!
