5 Favorite Date Night Restaurants in Nashville

Happy Monday, y'all! How was your weekend? You may have seen on Instagram that we went pumpkin picking! As I mentioned in Friday's post, we had planned on going to Cheekwood to check out their seasonal activities, but after doing a few house chores that morning, we decided to take it easy and just head to a pumpkin patch near us to pick out a few pumpkins for our front porch and back deck. It turned out to be the perfect low key Saturday and perfect day date.

We always make time to do something fun together on the weekend - whether it's a fun day date like hiking or riding bikes, or a dinner out somewhere for date night. I wore this look a few weeks back for one of our Friday date nights, and I thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite date night spots in Nashville with you guys! We have lived here for 7 years and have checked out tons of restaurants (the food scene here is amazing!), but we definitely have our favorites that we go to time and time again.

Cafe Nonna - One of our favorite places in the whole city! It's the coziest little Italian spot right in the heart of our neighborhood. We went to Italy a few years ago, and this spot reminds us of all the little Italian cafes we ate at on our trip. The food taste like it's straight from Italy, too! Our favorite is the Seafood Angelina - a mix of fresh seafood tossed in pasta and a creamy sauce... trust me, order it if you ever go here.

Kayne Prime - This is our special occasion spot, as it can be pretty pricey! However, it's worth every penny. It is the best prime steak house in the city, and was recently voted a top 10 steak house in the country. If you are a dessert person (I mean, who isn't?), then definitely get the banana nut bread - it comes in a hot skillet with a scoop of ice cream on top, and it's the most delicious thing I've ever tasted. You'll never go wrong with Kayne Prime for a special date night - it's romantic and the food is phenomenal.

5th and Taylor - We go here for the ambiance! They have a beautiful indoor setting, and the outdoor atmosphere is fun - with an outdoor bar and bistro lights! The food is always both unique and tasty, and they have the best cucumber cocktail. I know that sounds odd, but trust me, it's so good. This is also a fun place to go to with another couple or group of people!

City House - They have the best dinner menu in the city, hands down. The executive chef is only a James Beard Award winner... so yeah, the food is good. Like really good. The Belly Ham Pizza is one of their staples and is a must try. But you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The chef creates the most delicious pairings! It's also a cute little spot - in an old home with tons of character!

Saint Anejo - We both love Mexican food, and it's the perfect little cantina-chic spot for date night. It's a casual spot, but super fun because of the patio area and delicious cocktails. The menu features creative tacos and the best guacamole. It's definitely our go-to spot when we are craving Mexican and want a more laid back date night.

If you live in Nashville, I'd love to hear some of your favorite date night spots, and if you're not in Nashville, tell me where you are and some of your favorite places for date night in your city!

xoxo
